At The Hideout, we work with a variety of
clinicians and instructors from around the world.
Our AH Horsemanship Clinics focus on a variety of
subjects, disciplines and riding levels. Our clinic
weeks can be attended during afour or six night stay
at our guest ranch and you will receive all of the
same amenities which are included in our
all-inclusive guest ranch packages. Most of the
weeks consist of threededicated clinic days led by
the clinician of the week.
Clinics & Riding
Because The Hideout is a riding ranch, we do
not forget you are here to ride and enjoy this
beautiful countryon horseback.During the off-season
our clinics are limited to a maximum of ten
participants which means you will have plenty of
opportunity to ride in the outside or inside arena,
on our 300,000 acre ranch, and participate in
Stockman ship (the principles of low stress cattle
work which you could compare to “Natural Cowman
ship”. We use the Bud Williams principles), trail
During the clinic, because our key staff has
attended most our clinics prior to organizing them
for our guests, they work as hands-on personal
assistants during the clinic days. The Hideout staff
of experienced wranglers will continue to coach you
the remainder of the week during your rides. At The
Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch and AH Horsemanship we
are about team work.
It is all about you and the horse
Our clinics are not “one man shows” with one
person talking and all the others listening and not
participating. Our clinics are about you and the
horses. We select our clinicians based on our 3 C
Concept of Character, Conduct and Competence and
also on their ability to teach, share and pass on
their horsemanship skills. At AH Horsemanship
Clinics at The Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch
participants will not only learn about horsemanship
from a great clinician, they will have the
opportunity to participate and use their newly
acquired skills while they are here.
Our clinic weeks are included in your 4 or 6 Night
Package you book at The Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch.
